When our bride Nicole Zuber called us for and impromtu wedding cake just days before the SURPRISE WEDDING, we had to meet serveral goals. We had to make this cake happen fast... we had to make this cake look exactly like the picture which the bride found on the internet. And if that's not crazy... we then had to move the pick up day from Sunday to Saturday.... next, we got the call Saturday morning that she was to pick it up 3 hrs. earlier than we expected! We pulled this cake off, and in an odd twist, my family and I watched Nicole get married on Wrightsville Beach as we took the day off to catch some waves. It was the strangest event yet, and a little surreal to have been the unexpected "impromptu guest" at this wedding. How funny. Nicole, I promise that I am not a wedding crasher. The bride finished her cake herself with a couple of flowers from Harris Teeter. She has promised to send the pictures after the honeymoon.
