Here are pictures of two great sweets... My husband and his birthday cake. We surprised him with a cake tower from the bakery. Here we have a European style cake with a southern flair. For those of you who know us, you are well aware that we do not serve pound cake. We created this cake to fit southern tastes which includes Vanilla, Chocolate Banana's Foster, and of course Southern Red Velvet. We thought it would be a fun play on the original. As pastry chefs, these recipes are true to the art so yes, we do flambe our Banana's Foster with Rum... so Yum! Happy 49th Birthday Baby! Did he get a new camera? Well close, I got him a new video camera, which takes pictures as well.
