Grooms cake for a Formula 1 Fan. This is a replica of a BMW Sauber
made for a bride from Raleigh, who surpised her fiancee. We learned a whole lot by doing this cake. The first try totally collasped as I put it back in the cooler after the crumb coat... our cakes are just so soft. We finally got it right and the staff ate the toppled pieces and it arrived perfectly. The guests even called me THE CAKE BOSS!
I should have taken a full picture of the little girl watching me put the tires on at the delivery she was so precious you can see her little hands in the picture.

I love my job. I get to make people happy every day and that is something to look forward to. I got a call from Margret whose daughter eloped and got married in Italy. She wanted to do something nice for here daughter so she called me from Ohio, and ordered a similar theme of one of our beach style wedding cakes but in a cupcake tower. Whew, so so busy. It seems like it's been a week of cheesecakes... I guess word gets around. We have a three tier wedding cheesecake. We can make just about any style cake into a wedding cheesecake. I offer New York style Jewish, with a soft silky center. I'm a New Yorker and I love my cheesecake. Tori Amos Birthday Cheesecake

We created a Tori Amos cheesecake for a serious Tori fan. We have "American Doll Pose" and Choir Girls all edible birthday cheesecake. We had fun... we made tiny snakes to make the name Tori. I have an old cd of hers, and I remember it having snakes. Cool.

I was happy to see them in three different colors and I think it makes this cake look magnificent. Congratulations Laura... this was an enjoyable cake.

Beach Wedding Cake "The Exact Match": Chocolate Cake with Buttercream Icing.

When our bride Nicole Zuber called us for and impromtu wedding cake just days before the SURPRISE WEDDING, we had to meet serveral goals. We had to make this cake happen fast... we had to make this cake look exactly like the picture which the bride found on the internet. And if that's not crazy... we then had to move the pick up day from Sunday to Saturday.... next, we got the call Saturday morning that she was to pick it up 3 hrs. earlier than we expected! We pulled this cake off, and in an odd twist, my family and I watched Nicole get married on Wrightsville Beach as we took the day off to catch some waves. It was the strangest event yet, and a little surreal to have been the unexpected "impromptu guest" at this wedding. How funny. Nicole, I promise that I am not a wedding crasher. The bride finished her cake herself with a couple of flowers from Harris Teeter. She has promised to send the pictures after the honeymoon.
